One of the nicest things about having a campus that was originally a Cape Cod destination resort is that it offers our residents more than 17,000 square feet of common space as the heart of the community. Though the entire property has been completely remodeled, it’s still packed with world class resort amenities along with all the comforts of home. Below is just a taste of what Freestyle Living Yarmouth has to offer.

At Freestyle Living, every meal provides an opportunity for variety in terms of dining style and ambiance. From our Grand Dining Room, which offers an array of seating options including a central captains table, cozy semi-private nooks with soft seating, and an open bar area perfect for casual social dining. Adjacent to the main room through the sliding barn doors is an elegant private dining room (which you’re able to reserve for private events with family and friends). Perhaps you’re in the mood to stroll down the hall and visit the Bistro for some lighter fare and a drink instead? The choices are yours to make.

For many, having a pool on the property would be a dream come true. At Freestyle Living you’ll have two! One indoors and one outdoors. The climate controlled indoor pool area is open year round for exercise, recreation and socializing. Perhaps you’d like to start your day by joining an aquatic exercise session? or swimming a few laps on your own? Maybe you’d prefer to take your coffee and catch up with neighbors in one of the many seating areas along the pools edge, or pull up a seat by the windows to enjoy an afternoon finishing that book you’ve been reading. In the Summer months the outdoor pool area is an ideal spot to catch some rays and cool off with a dip when you need to, or duck into some shade to watch the grandkids have a great time splashing around. That’s what Cape Cod summers are all about.

Our Wellness/Spa area is a quiet spot off the beaten path in the main building. Here you will find  (in addition to a fully appointed massage room that’s available for moments of blissfully relaxing massage or other holistic spa treatments) a number of private exam rooms and a small conference office that residents may reserve to accommodate on-site meetings with their case worker or outside health care provider.

Who’s up for a trip to the beach? Living in Yarmouth means easy access to the sand and surf the Cape is famous for. We make that access even easier with our complimentary golf cart beach shuttle service. Pack a lunch, grab a towel, strap your beach chair to the bumper and we’re off!

Helping Freestyle Living residents to maintain their heath and wellness is one of our core values. That’s why we have invested in building out a fully equipped fitness area complete with state-of-the-art equipment, including multiple exercise bikes, professional quality free weight dumb bells and kettle balls along with accessories  like yoga mats and exercise balls. It’s all the essentials  you need to stay fit without a gym membership fee.

Throughout the property you will find a wide variety of common spaces large and small, each with a different mood and feel. Some bright and sunny, some warm and cozy, all nicely appointed with attention to design and detail. Shown here is the study, which is just off the lobby of the main entrance.

Freestyle Living means everything you want and need is within easy reach. That’s why (in addition to all of the amenities residents enjoy) 24 hour on-site security, concierge services, maintenance and housekeeping are included at no additional cost.

A very popular spot throughout the day, our Bistro has the feel of a modern Irish pub with a French flair. Stop in for a bite during the day or have a drink before dinner with friends in the evening. As if the space weren’t enough on its own, there’s also an outdoor patio for fair weather dining and an adjoining function room if you’d like to host an event or party. Check the entertainment calendar to find out if there’s a band playing and come on down.

Another one of the unique common areas on the property, our sunroom with its airy wicker furniture, scent of fresh flowers and views of the surrounding greenery offers a bright and springy spot to sit and socialize. P.S. The light in this room happens to be great for crocheting or knitting.

Talk about doing a movie night in style! Our theater room is the ultimate spot for movie buffs who want to make an evening of it. It features a giant projection screen, plenty of  comfortable seating and a dry kitchen perfect for preparing popcorn and snacks. It also happens to be located directly next to the kitchen and adjoins the private dining room so food service will be no problem should you decide to host a dinner/movie get together for friends.
